Thank you for visiting the official website of the Portland Pavilion.

The Portland Pavilion is a privately run, members only, sports and recreational club based in Edgbaston, Birmingham.  It is conveniently situated on the border of Smethwick and Edgbaston, just 1.5 miles from the City Centre.  The Pavilion, as we call it, is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city without leaving it.

The club itself is steeped in history from the old M&B Brewery days, for which it was the brewery workers port of call after a hard day at work..... or maybe not so much 'hard' for some!!  Feel free to click on the history link to read more about the M&B Brewery and how the Portland Pavilion came to fruition.

Nowadays, The Pavilion is home to guests from all walks of life, be it those who come to play football on one of our 3 pitch's, or those who come to play bowls on our 2 crown greens....... perhaps Salsa is your thing, so why not join the monthly Salsa-Central classes.  The Pavilion also plays host to the Portland Pavilion Players amateur dramatics society, who put on some fun shows for all the family, AND if this still is not enough, The Pavilion also has its very own nature reserve in its 'backyard' called Deers Leap Wood.  Deers Leap serves both as an educational experience for the family, and as a place to take a nice summers' stroll through, and see what wildlife you can spot.

There are many more fun and energetic things to help wind down from the hectic lives we all lead, so please pop in some time and have a look for yourself, or bring the family, as we pride ourselves on being one of a handful of family friendly clubs with sooooo much to offer our guests.

Last, but not least, the evenings at The Portland Pavilion makes a fantastic place to sit back and unwind with a nice drink with your friends and family, and you can also treat yourselves, on the weekends, to a mouth-watering meal freshly prepared from Simons Kitchen, or a Carvery on Sundays.
